ISKCON Vaikuntha Temple is a divine destination in Bangalore to get the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara in the new ISKCON Sri Rajadhi Raja Govinda Temple at Vaikuntha Hill, Vasanthapura, Bangalore. ISKCON Vaikuntha Temple was inaugurated by our Former President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind on June 14, 2022.

ISKCON, Vaikuntha Temple is inspired to be built by the famous Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala. It has gold plated dhwaja-stambha (flag post) 17m (56 ft), and high plated gold kalash shikara 8.5m (28 ft) high. ISKCON Vaikuntha Hill Temple or Sri Rajadhi Raja Govinda Temple is a cultural complex that is a fusion of modern complexes with Krishna Leela Theme Park that is coming up on Vaikuntha Hill, a 28-acre hillock on Kanakapura Road, Bengaluru. 

The ISKCON Vaikuntha Hill temple takes Darshan duration for 1-2 hours, with no entry fees but special Darshan fees for those who want to escape the queues and get a close darshan of the deities. There is an elaborate abhisheka of each deity and Mandala Puja for 48 days.

There are two programs in the evening and morning at Vaikuntha Hill, ISKCON. Everyday Tulsi Puja is performed at 4:45 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. 

Tulasi worship is done in three steps: 

  1. Tulsi Pranama: Tulasi Pranama Mantra is sung thrice to offer obeisance to Tulasi. 
  2. Tulasi Arti: Tulasi Kirtana is sung. 
  3. Tulasi Pradakshina: Devotees circle Tulasi devi and chant Pradakshina Mantra. 

At last, they again offer obeisance chanting Tulasi Pranama Mantra.

About ISKCON Vaikuntha Hill

Vaikuntha Hill temple was constructed as per traditional Shilpa Shastras in Dravidian style of architecture conceived and executed by the devotees of ISKCON Vaikuntha Temple, Bangalore in grace of Srila Prabhupada's, founder- Acharya of ISKCON on the occasion of his 125th anniversary. 

For the first time in the History of ISKCON, a separate shrine for Srila Prabhupada shrine was constructed, where his Achala Shila Murti, a black stone deity is installed. A large queuing hall is made for devotees to have Darshan. 

The Sri Rajadhi Raja Govinda Temple has marvel architecture and art- rajagopuram, gold-plated dhwaja-stambha marble flooring, intricate carving, and colorful paintings. 

The temple has six shrines dedicated to different forms of Krishna and every year festivals like Ram Navami, Brahmotsavam, Narasimha Jayanti, Ratha Yatra, Sri Krishna Janmashtami, Deepotsava, Govardhan Puja etc are celebrated.

The ISKCON, Vaikunta Hill has exceptional significance. It is a divine story of Muni, Shri Mandavya Muni, who performed a very severe penance in a cave on the Vaikuntha Hill. Lord Srinivasa was pleased with his penance and decided to grant him a boon and blessings to Shri Mandavya Muni. Lord promised him to come to the Vaikuntha Hill after he gets married to the Padmavathi Devu at Tirumala, to perform the Leela of Vihara or honeymoon. This sacred place came to be known as Vasanthapura where the Lord came for his Vasantha Vihara (spring outing).
