About Chikka Tirupati Temple Bangalore
Located approximately 15 KM from Bangalore this temple has Hindu religious significance that attracts a lot of pilgrims. It is believed by the locals that this temple was built between the 14th and 17th centuries by Vijayanagara Empires. Local people believe that in this temple prayers are answered swiftly. The root of this temple is mentioned in Mahabharat where Agni Dev was cursed by Takshaka and as per lord shiva’s suggestion he started praying to Lord Vishnu in this region after a long time village head had a dream and the dainty was dug out of a local pond. After that, this temple was built.
This temple has a parking lot where they don’t charge money. Prasadam is served here from 12:30 PM to 2 PM. Outside the temple, a small market is also there where you can find toys for kids, food items, and other things.
