Sholingur is a famous Hindu pilgrimage-centre in Vellore district, Tamil Nadu, dedicated to Lord Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The temple being perched atop a hill does offer immense spiritual significance and captivating views of the area at the same time. The temple complex is divided into two parts, the lower temple at the base of the hill and the upper temple at the top of a hill.
