Talupulamma Thalli Temple is located in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. This district is also known as God's Own District. The main deity of this temple is Talupulamma Thalli. This temple is frequently visited by the car and truck owners to seek blessings of Talupulamma Thalli Goddess. It is believed that goddess will save the vehicles from the accidents and also their business will flourish after seeking the blessings of hers.Â
Now a days this temple has become a tourist attraction and people from all over Andhra Pradesh visits this temple.Â
There is no dress code you need to wear any decent dress. Darshan are free for all however there are charges for special darshan. Temple Timings is 6 AM to 6 PM. Temple is also open in afternoon.Â
Talupulamma Lova Temple History
It is believed that Sage Agastya have resided in this place. He named two mountains as Darakonda and Teegakonda. It is when Agastya Rishi does not find enough water for his prayer he asked goddess Parvathi to give some water as result of this river is flowing from Darakonda. He also asked goddess to stay there and bless the devotees there. The goddess was named Talupulamma.Â
