Vaishno Devi Battery Car: Booking, Price, Distance, Cancellation, Other Details

Battery car at Vaishno Devi is available from route of Ardhkuwari to Bhawan. It can be booked online through the official website of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. 

Battery cars are operated on the new route through Himkoti. It is around 5.5 kms long and less steep as compared to older route.

Vaishno Devi Battery Car Booking Price 

The ticket price of battery car is INR 450 per person for the route of Ardhkuwari to Bhawan and INR 300 per person from Bhawan to Ardhkuwari. Both prices are inclusive of GST. You can book tickets online for both the routes. 

How to book Battery Car through Online Mode?

Below is the detailed process:

• You need to browse through website of website of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board - Direct Link 
• Now enter your mobile number to login through OTP.
• Enter the OTP received
• Click on Battery Car 
• Enter the details 
• Select the category
• Number of pilgrims
• Number of infants (baby with age less than 5 years)
• Select the route 
• Journey date
• Primary pilgrim detail (a person who is entering all the details)
• Now enter all the pilgrims details
• After that enter the children details
• Click on the box on I agree to term and conditions
• Click on proceed
• After that make the payment

Important Points

• There will be no charge for the baby age less than 5 years. 
• It is advisable that you need to book tickets at least one month before as the tickets sold immediately. 
• Yatris should be get in online queue 15 minutes prior to their booking time.
• Booked time slot will not be changed under any circumstance
• Only 1 passenger needs to stand in online queue for tickets with online booking receipt and original ids of fellow passengers.

How to book Battery Car through Offline Mode?

You need to book battery car in person at ardhkuwari point if you want to go to bhawan  and for going back from bhawan to ardhkuwari you need to book car at bhawan point. 

These tickets are subjected to the availability. First preference is given to the online tickets after that if tickets are remain unsold then they will be made available for the offline person.

Differently abled and patient with life threatening diseases will be given tickets on priority. 

Vaishno Devi Battery Car Distance

Battery car travel on the new route between Ardhkuwari to Vaishno Mata Bhawan through Himkoti Restaurant/Bhojanalaya. The distance of this route is 5.5 km. Battery car will start from the checkpoint at Ardhkuwari and will drop you at some distance away from the starting line for the vaishno mata darshan.

Vaishno Devi Battery Car Cancellation

Online tickets booked through shrine board website will be canceled through online mode only. For the round trip tickets both trip tickets will be cancelled, no partial route cancellation will be entertained. Cancellation can be done two days before the scheduled trip date. No cancellation will be done within two days of scheduled trip. Only 70% of the amount will be refunded to person, 30% will be charged as processing fees. 

Refunded amount will be credited to the person through the original mode of payment within 15 days of cancellation. No inperson physical ticket or email will be entertained. 

If there is any delay in refund amount then person can email the authorities at accountsrefund@maavaishnodevi.net with all the original details. 

*Full amount shall be refunded only in case of cancellation of battery car operations due to bad weather or other technical reasons at sole discretion of shrine board.
